On the seventh day of football,
UEFA gave to me
Seven sides-a-sinking,
Six games amazing,
Five Golden Goals!
Four calls blown,
Three French clubs,
Two title races and
Liverpool and Man City

Welcome to this year's edition of the 12 Days of Football on It's Round and It's White. Over the holiday fixtures, our writers will look back on the 2019 calendar year and ahead to the season's end in a series of 12 articles covering different issues and leagues in European football. Today, Warren Smith looks at seven clubs who received lumps of coal in their 2019 stockings. Enjoy.

Results on the pitch don't always allow footballers to enjoy the holiday season as much as fans. It's difficult to rest and recharge when all you can think about is everything that's gone wrong in the past four months. Then again, the sight of a WAG holding a sprig of mistletoe over her head and wearing a hopeful expression should take anyone's mind off their troubles. Here are a group of managers from seven different clubs who could use the distraction.

Yokohama F•Marinos supporter. Seen it all in the J.League, relegation fights and being crowned champions. Play five-a-side, pretty good too. Once scored an overhead kick.
