4 betting tips for the Premier League weekend

Wednesday 1st November 2017
The Premier League has taken us by storm during the first few months. Who would've expected Pep Guardiola's City to score 35 goals, Watford to be performing so well, along with Ronald Koeman leaving Everton sitting in the bottom three. All after only ten games.

The Premier League continues to be one of the most unpredictable leagues in world football; however, here are four great tips for this weekend.

Stoke City v Leicester City - Stoke win - 29/20

Saturday, 12:30 pm BST

In what seems a mediocre game, by Premier League standards at least, a home win at 29/20 is a must have. Stoke will be aiming to take all three points as they look to climb further away from the relegation zone. Everyone knows Mark Hughes' side are strong at the Bet365 Stadium, while Leicester City has picked up just one win in five attempts on the road this campaign.

West Ham United v Liverpool - Liverpool win & over 2.5 goals - 11/8

Saturday, 5:30 pm BST

The Hammers haven't enjoyed a good start to this Premier League season. Bilic was widely tipped to be the first manager to lose his job, and although he's clinging on, his fortunes could turn in the coming weeks. West Ham's form at new home remains shaky, managing just two league wins at the Olympic Stadium this campaign.
Liverpool, meanwhile, face Maribor in the Champions League on Wednesday night. The Reds ran out 7-0 winners in the reverse fixture two weeks ago. So perhaps Jurgen Klopp will utilise his full squad, resting key players for a much-needed league win this weekend.

Considering Liverpool's potent attacking force and West Ham's defensive frailties, 11/8 represents great value.

Manchester City v Arsenal - City win & under 3.5 goals - 15/8

Sunday, 2:15 pm BST

Every Premier League fan is familiar with City's dominance on the attacking front this season. Scoring an impressive 35 goals in only ten games is beyond expectations. The Citizens have proven how prolific their attack is, but Arsenal's defence will prove a test. This should be an interesting game.
Arsene Wenger must adapt his style to counteract Pep Guardiola's attacking tactics, especially as the north Londoners are playing away from home. The Gunners have something to prove by preventing City from scoring freely; however, another win is on the cards for the league leaders. Perhaps by fewer goals than in previous weeks though.

Everton v Watford - Watford win & under 2.5 goals - 13/2

Sunday, 4:30 pm BST

Consider this tip a 'punt' rather than a banker for an accumulator. As mentioned, Everton recently sacked Ronald Koeman, which will inevitably cause some unrest in the changing room. The club is left with David Unsworth in charge, temporarily, who was recently described as an "overweight P.E. teacher" by controversial pundit Joey Barton. Regardless of Unsworth's qualities, he has a tough task on his hands to overcome a Watford side filled with confidence.
Marco Silva has transformed the Hornets into possible contenders for European football next season. His side has already overturned Arsenal, and they were only three minutes away from holding Chelsea to a 2-2 draw a few weeks ago. Therefore, Watford will defeat the Toffees. A 2-0 win at 13/2 is definitely worth £1.
