How long can perfection last?

Several top European clubs remain undefeated two months into the season. Odds are there's a Buster Douglas in each one's future, however.

Domestic championships take a break for a fortnight to allow the international calendar a moment in the sun.

In the Premier League, three clubs made it through eight games with matching records at the top of the table, all unbeaten. Manchester City intend to run away with the title again but Chelsea and Liverpool refuse to be separated from the holders. 

The English trio are not the only undefeated sides in Europe. Five other clubs, each in a different league, are yet to post a loss. Rare is the team who make it through the season unblemished, however. Barcelona came close last term but are already out of the running in 2018/19. Let's examine each of the five invincible hopefuls with an eye for when they might finally stumble.
