LCFC - Bad Timing With International Break?

Friday 7th October 2011
In recent games Leicester City appear to have turned a corner. Their defensive worries have been eased and against Derby, the goals started to flow.

The international break has come at the worst time now that the Foxes are looking to build some momentum. Hopefully, the work on the training ground during this period will be enough to continue this unbeaten run.

Leicester are unbeaten in seven league games and have kept a clean sheet in the last four. They lie in a good position, just outside the play offs. Expectation was high at the start of the season and after a slow paced start it seems that the Leicester squad is beginning to gel. All the side needs to do now is consistently turn draws into victories.

The signs are good though, on their travels Leicester are unbeaten in the league registering four draws and a victory. The victory, at the start of the campaign, against Coventry needs to be built upon if Sven Goran Eriksson's men are to make an impression at the right end of the Championship table.

After the international break, City face newly relegated Birmingham City before hosting Watford just three days later. If these games yield the full six points then Leicester will be well around the corner and looking good for promotion.
