Sing When You're Winning – Away Wins Provide Value For Weekend Treble

Friday 8th March 2013
As we approach the business end of the season, sides are scrapping for points as they try to keep their season alive, with many either trying to gain promotion or avoid relegation. This week, we have found three possible overpriced selections all playing away from home in the lower leagues for our treble, which offers odds of 38/1 with Bet Victor.

Let us know what matches you are choosing for your coupon this weekend by replying in the comments section.

Bournemouth v Doncaster Rovers - away win @ 31/10

Bournemouth's charge for promotion to the Championship has come to something of a standstill in recent weeks as four defeats on the spin has seen them slip out of the play-off places and things don't get any easier for the Cherries on Saturday when they welcome table-toppers Doncaster Rovers.

A 3-0 loss to MK Dons during midweek saw Rovers suffer their first defeat in seven matches and Brian Flynn will be hoping for an instant reaction at the weekend and Bet Victor's 31/10 about them cementing their place at the top of League Two with three points is far too big about them inflicting a fifth loss in a row on Bournemouth.

Prior to that defeat against the Dons, Doncaster were comfortable 3-0 winners over lowly Hartlepool and if they can dominate the game at Dean Court on Saturday like they did that one then they could well land the spoils in an exciting clash against Eddie Howe's side.

Crawley v Notts County - away win @ 9/4

Crawley's home form has certainly curtailed their promotion push as they have not picked up three points at home since New Year's Day and Richie Barker's men may have to wait a little longer for their next win on home soil, as they host a Notts County side, who will still hold hopes of making the play-offs.

County are unbeaten in six matches, but a draw in midweek against Leyton Orient would've disappointed new boss Chris Kiwomya and he will be hoping for a return to winning ways on Saturday and they could be a shade overpriced at 9/4 with Bet Victor, as Crawley are low on confidence at the Broadfield Stadium and may struggle to hold a free-scoring County side.

Barnet v Morecambe – away win @ 19/10

Morecambe will be hoping that they can produce a flurry of wins in the latter part of the season as they try and sneak into the League Two playoffs and Jim Bentley's outfit can kick-start that winning run on Saturday and bag three points from Barnet at Underhill.

A comfortable 3-0 victory over Rochdale last weekend continued their fine scoring run and they will take on a Barnet side who are still hanging perilously close to the relegation zone and will head into the match on the back of a disappointing 2-1 defeat to fellow strugglers Plymouth Argyle at Home Park on Saturday.

A hit-and-miss side all season, Barnet will look to strengthen their defence for the visit of the Shrimps, but Bentley's men can overpower their lowly opposition and the 19/10 with Bet Victor would complete a very nice treble for punters.

Mick Bates

Mick is a passionate fan of Coventry City and has watched from the sidelines (and had the privilege of seeing the inner workings during an exciting two years in corporate sales there) to see the once mighty Sky Blues fall from the Premier League, then fail to sparkle in the Championship, relegated from League One and wind up in League Two before winning the most important fixture in football competitions - The Checkatrade Trophy final followed by a heart-stopping promotion back to League One.

As well as supporting the Sky Blues, Mick appreciates all levels of football and loves a good book to keep himself entertained as well as a few hours on FIFA or Football Manager as time allows.

He also keeps an eye on all the major English leagues and regularly enjoys a flutter looking for that elusive treble!
