Three Championship Teams Want Ranger

Friday 18th November 2011
Newcastle United are attempting to send problematic striker Nile Ranger out on loan before next weeks deadline.

Pardew believes that it is imperative that Ranger gets away from Newcastle for the rest of the season if he wants to save his career. The forward is due to appear in court three times this month due to drink related arrests while out in Newcastle City Centre. Its seems that three championship clubs are willing to give the former England under 19 and under 20 player a life line.

The Newcastle Journal is reporting that Watford and Bristol City have both been interested in Ranger in the last few days. While Blackpool may be ready to attempt to sign the striker again after a £1million deal fell through in the summer. A source close to Nile Ranger told the press;

"There is a good chance of Nile going out on loan before the deadline but it just depends of whether they are willing to take a chance on him now"

This interest comes after former Newcastle United manager Chris Hughton made enquires about the possibility of bringing Ranger to Birmingham City to help their promotion push. Although Ashley and other board members would prefer a permanent move out the club for Ranger as they have had enough of the bad press that he brings to Tyneside.

Nile's off the field problems are enough to put any team off attempting to sign him due to the bad image he will bring to the club. Ranger has scored 3 times in 58 appearances for Newcastle, although he has the potential to score many more if he can sort himself out.
