Top 5 Young Euro Stars, Number 5 - Jetro Willems
Jetro Willems is a name that many football fans may not be familiar with, yet he is travelling to the Euros with one of the continent's best teams, Holland.
Willems, a left back for PSV Eindhoven, is only 18 years of age but with the injury to Erik Pieters, Holland's first choice in his position, he may have the chance to shine on the international stage.
It has been a meteoric rise for Willems who started the 2011/12 season at Sparta Rotterdam in the second division of Dutch football, he may now finish the campaign a European Champion.
Willems moved to Dutch giants PSV in August and ended up starting 21 games in all competitions, helping his side to third place in the Eredivisie table.
As if his achievements at club level and the call up to the national side were not impressive enough, in Holland's last friendly Willems started at left back which gives the indication that he may get the nod in their first game against Denmark on the 9th of June.
There is obviously competition for places at left back for the Dutch, but, if Willems gets a chance he could definitely be one of the young stars to shine at Euro 2012.
