Russia 2018 World Cup Preview: Group F

Tuesday 12th June 2018

Group F sees the reigning World Champions Germany drawn among Sweden, Mexico and South Korea, displaying continental versatility. This group is much like the others with one clear favourite, an underdog and two teams battling it out for the second spot.

Germany takes possibly the most talented squad to Russia, despite leaving the likes of Leroy Sane and Mario Gotze behind. Sweden have fought against the odds to make it to the World Cup. Mexico, as always, qualified with ease and will be looking to replicate past successes, whilst South Korea will have to hope that they can clinch a couple of fluke results to stand an outside chance to progress.
